Heat Treated Pallets
Heat treated pallets are those that have undergone a heat treatment and are safe to travel internationally. Since many countries have strict export and import rules, it’s crucial that wooden pallets traveling across borders do not have unwanted pests on them that could also be transported. Heat treatments help take care of this and prevent the movement of pests that can hide in the grain of the wood. Once your wood pallet has been heat treated, it will retain the benefits of its heat treatment and does not require further heat treatments thereafter.
